Good Things

Many times, as I write essays for Cultivating Project, I start one idea and try to work it through to the end and then stop because I’m not sure where to take it or if it really fits the theme of the issue (or I’m just tired of it). I guess every writer goes through this… trusting the process leads to the next step. Here is one I almost completed on an idea that has inspired me through the years—the connection between the good things of God’s house and the good things in our own homes. Today, after rereading it, I like where I ended it. Although this is rough draft, I think it gets to the thoughts that have been ruminating through my mind for years.
